As a Cybersecurity Architect - Network Security, you will play a vital role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's network infrastructure.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and decision-makers to design, implement, and maintain security solutions that protect our network from modern cyber threats.


Your key responsibilities:


Design and implement robust network security architectures focusing on enterprise segmentation, edge services, and zero trust frameworks tailored for a hybrid corporate/manufacturing network environment.

Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect the company's network infrastructure and sensitive data.

Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential security threats across the manufacturing and corporate networks.


Collaborate with IT and OT teams to integrate security solutions across various platforms, including legacy systems and modern cloud-based applications.


Work with Enterprise Architecture on deployment of network tools and hardware within lifecycle projects to ensure cybersecurity standards are met.

Provide expert guidance on network security best practices and emerging threats specific to the manufacturing industry.


Design and implement secure network architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure VPNs, with a focus on industrial operations integrating with enterprise systems at the network level.

Develop and maintain network segmentation strategies to minimize the impact of security breaches and protect critical manufacturing operations.


Implement and manage cybersecurity relevant features of edge security services, including secure access service edge (SASE) solutions, ensuring secure remote access to manufacturing sites.

Drive the adoption of zero trust principles across the organization, ensuring that access controls are continuously monitored and enforced.


Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as NIST and ISO 27001.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior security architects and network engineers.


Stay current with the latest advancements in network security technologies and threat landscapes, especially those relevant to the manufacturing sector.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in network security architecture, with a focus on enterprise segmentation, edge services, and zero trust.

Experience with hardware firewalls, switches and routers is required.

In-depth knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SASE.

Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and securing industrial control systems (ICS) is required.

Proven experience with designing and implementing zero trust security models.

Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and security controls.

Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
