JOIN THE TEAM

Within the Group Data Office as part of BASF's Data & AI Powerhouse, we drive BASF's overall Data Management and contribute to the convenient, efficient, and compliant data usage within BASF. We deliver services all around Data Product creation, Data Strategy, Data Governance and Projects. Providing data as Data Products enables colleagues across the organization to create value.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and drive creation of Group Data Products, by coordinating all necessary steps along the process and roles
  • Identify and coordinate with respective Data Domain / Product Owners and offer support and guidance to execute the respective role
  • Ensure that roles and responsibilities are adhered to within appropriate timeliness
  • Create transparency on data product status and monitor progress
  • Together with stakeholders agree on and manage the prioritization of data product creation, monitor progress, resolve blockers and escalate critical issues
  • Capture and report value creation from data products by closely aligning with stakeholders in the business and communicate data product value story in appropriate channels and communities
  • Resolve practical blockers in data product creation
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree of business administration,(economic) computer science, science or a comparable completed education with many years professional experience in various fields.
  • Experience in the area of data, IT, data stewardship and similar profiles
  • Very structured work mode also in an highly complex environment, ideally with first experience in project management
  • Strong communication skills and very good stakeholder management
  • General understanding of data processing (data analytics, engineering, data science etc.)
