Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring to market innovative products and services.
Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
Ability to design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
Work in an agile environment to deliver high quality software.

About the team
In Guided Buying our mission is to enable the most accurate and widest range of policies that allow organizations to accurately drive their spend. We aim to track as many signals from the customer as possible and map them into the Amazon echosystem.
In CurationPA We are the glue between two worlds (admins and buyers). Tooling team provides the platform and experience for Administrators to manage procurement policies and BuyerExperience (BX) uses these policies to guide buyers towards the best buying choice. The Policy Authoring team is in charge of creating a subset of the policies on the Tooling & BX framework.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
