What to Expect We are recruiting for a V42 Senior Engineer PT Controls to join our fantastic Powertrain and Controls team in Idiada.

As the Senior Engineer you will be managing the software and calibration content and delivery of the Powertrain Control Units, coordinating with the Powertrain Controls team, suppliers and other internal teams.

What You'll Do Responsibility for the Powertrain Control Unit Software, structuring and tracking the content and timing deliveries with internal teams and suppliers.

Managing the software integration of McLaren Software Components into the supplier software. Managing the Powertrain Control Unit calibration datasets builds and deliveries. Supporting the definition of sensors and actuators connected to the Engine Control Unit and reviewing requirements to//from the other teams (Supplier, Harness design, Powertrain design)


What You'll Bring Mechanical or Automotive Engineering Degree 2:1 or above (or equivalent) 5+ years experience in engine software//calibration development is required.

Experience of managing multiple contributors into complex calibration releases is preferred. Knowledge of software development, integration and validation process required.
