ROLE & PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you play a crucial role in the organization by contributing to the production of high-quality financial reports, ensuring timely compliance with regulations, and improving accounting processes and controls

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Train and support the global business services team members and thefinance managers globally in accounting, IFRS, SAP knowledge, andquality aspects.
• Act as a sparring partner to finance managers globally, providing technicalexpertise and assistance on accounting and reporting matters (accounting,finance, IFRS, tax, VAT, etc.).
• Support the group accounting team by drafting and reviewing policies andreporting instructions and solving issues during the monthly closing.
• Support the month-end closing process and ensure timely and high-qualityfinancial reporting for all entities in the scope of the global businessservices.
• Perform quality review of financial information before submission forconsolidation as well as during the consolidation process.
• Coordinate the financial audit process (group and statutory audits)globally.
• Oversee banking process globally, liaise with group treasury and managebank access rights.
• Participate in global finance projects as project manager, coordinator, orcontributor.
• Coordinate the preparation and timely submission of regulatory reporting.
• Liaise between global business services and the business/controllingcommunity concerning new reporting or regulatory requirements andbusiness needs.
• Review, standardise, and monitor internal controls globally within thefinance processes and improve quality in accounting and reporting.

Support accounting automation and improvement projects globally as anaccounting expert EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / COMPUTER SKILLS:

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key managers
• Chartered accountant, CPA or similar.
• 4+ years of experience in an international audit firm, working withcustomers in the technology, software services or manufacturingindustries.
• Exposure to foreign jurisdictions.
• IFRS knowledge and practical experience.
• Practical tax knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with SAP and OneStream (preferable).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex issuesin a simple and
• understandable way.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work in a demanding and changingenvironment
