Slack is looking for a Sr. Manager / Manager who will partner with senior leaders across the EMEA Sales Organization to drive strategic initiatives that shape the growth trajectory of Slack's Enterprise Business.
Success in this role means partnering with sales leaders and cross-functional partners to drive the continued success of Slack by designing innovative go-to-market solutions and supporting our business growth strategy. Sample projects range from the highly strategic to operational including evaluating market opportunities, product growth strategies, business planning, market segmentation, sales pipeline analysis and regular review of key performance metrics. The role requires interaction with various areas of the organization and provides daily exposure to senior executives.
The ideal candidate will have relentless curiosity and possess a passion for extracting insights from data and converting ideas to action. This candidate will demonstrate quick learning and an impressive history of driving results. Most importantly, the candidate will drive, through strong relationships and excellent communication, alignment across cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Partner with EMEA sales leadership to deliver strategic projects that enable the EMEA business to execute its highest priority initiatives Leverage data to conduct in-depth analyses across different areas of the business (e.g. customer segments / product lines) to develop a deep understanding of key value driversProactively identify and evaluate opportunities to drive growth and improve performance of the EMEA business and sales organizationDrive select operational initiatives, including annual business planningAct as the strategic thought partner to various members of EMEA Sales Leadership team, helping shape the sales strategy across the Enterprise business
Basic Qualifications
Some work experience at a management consulting firm, investment bank, private equity firm and/or within Strategy & Ops division of a technology companyBA/BS degree
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading cross-functional teams through change management programsAbility to articulately present and debate recommendations at the executive levelExperience with enterprise software or SaaS GTM strategyExcellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendationsExperience with SQL, Tableau, and Salesforce reporting preferredHigh-energy, team-first attitude: Motivated to work hard in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business
