As a part of the BASF Global Digital Trainee Program, you will receive full support from day one to make meaningful contributions to our team. WHAT TO EXPECT?
A comprehensive 18-month program based in the Digital Hub Madrid. This includes a 6-month internship period to learn and a 12-month training contract to kick-start your career.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of unit-specific and cross-unit tasks.
Four rotations, each approximately five months long, in at least three different teams to give you exposure to different parts of digitalization.
An all-expense paid rotation in Germany, helping you expand your network and further develop your intercultural skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for committed interns/trainees who want to gain knowledge and develop professional skills. We value candidates who set challenging goals for themselves, and approach opportunities with an open mind.
We are looking for someone that:
is finishing a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics). However, other disciplines are also welcomed.
has first experience in project management or coding. Active involvement in extra-curricular activities of any kind.
has excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
brings a positive learning spirit and a growth mindset.
Nice to have knowledge (but not necessary):
Master's degree of computer/data science, artificial intelligence, informatics, mathematics or a comparable completed education
Experience in the area of data modelling, semantic technologies, graphs and similar profiles
Very structured work mode also in a highly complex environment, ideally with first experience
Strong communication skills and very good stakeholder management
General understanding of data processing (data semantics, data analytics, engineering, data science, ... etc.)
