We are looking for a Lean Manufacturing Engineer to join our plant in Pedrola, Zaragoza.

Responsabilities

Reporting directly to Plant Manager and indirectly to Group Operational Excellence Manager, the Lean Manufacturing Engineer will be the site organization expert in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement, delivering operational improvements and leading the site level TOE implementation plan, the implementation teams, coaches and trains in Lean & Six Sigma tolos, as well as being resposible for Lean Savings target achievement.

The main functions are:

  • Drive the creation of Lean culture in the organization, defining and supporting the improvement teams and leading team governance.
  • Analyse current status detecting continuous improvement and operational opportunities.
  • Create, maintain and deploy the improvement projects plan as well as driving corrective actions when necessary.
  • Promote, coach and lead by example the site's Lean transformation, as well as training in Lean and Six Sigma tools.
  • Support site's safety, health and environmental activities.
  • Design the implementation plan for the Teknia Operational Excellence (TOE) initiative.
  • Take responsability for the achievement of site's Improvement Projects Saving target.
  • Report to upstream organization the KPI's and implementation progress.

Qualification and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Organizational Engineering.
  • Three year experience in similar responsabilities.
  • Training in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Green Belt
  • Experience in Project Management, Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Advanced level of English is a must.
