The role of the Business Analyst will support the Global Strategic Project Portfolio Management Team. This core member of the team will have experience in working on fast-paced projects across a highly complex environment.

What will you do?

To provide an advanced business analysis service in support of Global Strategic Projects; customer requirement analysis, functional evaluation, business process review and re-engineering, system specification, system testing, documentation, user training, user support and change managementTo assist the Global Strategic Project Portfolio Manager and team in the development of a roadmap for maintaining and enhancing applications and platforms across the Avolta landscapeTo participate in project planning activityTo undertake complex analysis of data and present evidence-based solution optionsTo maintain a continuous awareness of sector and IT developments and ensure proposed solutions leverage opportunitiesTo assist in the development of company-wide training programmes for both Global and Local users and teamsTo liaise with and manage stakeholders across all departments globally regarding new requirements and enhancements.To act as a coach/mentor to other Business Analysts ensuring best practice techniques and consistency is adopted throughout the teamWhat do you have experience in?Substantial Business Analysis experience Proven experience of Waterfall / Agile and/or other methodologiesDemonstrable experience of garnering user requirements through a range of elicitation techniques including planning, coordinating and executing stakeholder workshopsExperience identifying solutions in collaboration with large teamsExperience of analysing system and process related data and drawing conclusions and recommendations based on that dataDemonstrable experience of undertaking, documenting (using a standard notation) and implementing change as a result of business process review and modelling activityDemonstrable experience of providing solutions to complex problemsDemonstrable experience of producing functional system specificationsDemonstrable experience of performing detailed system testingDemonstrable experience of working with, influencing and challenging stakeholders at a senior levelExperience of working and maintaining relationships with third party providers/suppliersWhat do you need to fulfill this job?Highly computer literateExcellent verbal, written and presentation skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and a customer focused approachAble to work both individually and as part of a teamAble to prioritise, organise and deliver a complex and changing workload under pressure, without constant supervision and to tight deadlinesAble to contribute to the development of High-Level Requirement documentation / Business CasesAbility to guide and influence the development of junior colleagues through best practice in the disciplineUnderstanding of user experience design and associated techniques, e.g., prototypingExperience of change management practicesExperience of project management practicesWhat is a plus?Knowledge of a range of software in use within large organisations e.g. SAP etcExperience of working within a Retail environment Experience of developing, delivering or facilitating training An understanding of SQL and ability to write queries and interrogate data About HCLTech: We are HCLTech, one of the fastest-growing large tech companies in the world and home to 225,000+ people across 60 countries, supercharging progress through industry-leading capabilities centered around Digital, Engineering and Cloud.
