Job Summary
Head of Finance responsibilities include creating forecasting models, assessing investment risk, and ensuring all accounting activities comply with regulations. Has to be experienced in crafting financial strategies and managing accounting teams.
Main Responsibilities
Review of accounting closings and supervision of the accounting reporting of the entities to the group's consolidation department Prepare the individual and consolidated financial statements of the companies included in the project Lead the management of the financial audit. Work with the Group Controller to ensure a successful audit. Work to align the group's accounting policies and procedures with Spanish companies Collaborate, together with the tax area, in the calculation of taxes and tax optimization of the company Ensure compliance with the internal controls assigned to the financial team and implementation of the internal controls applicable to the position. Assist the CFO in developing and implementing new procedures and functions to improve department workflow. Participate in the evaluation and proposal of improvements and automation of processes in the financial area Assess with each direct report the establishment of goals and objectives for each year and advise on progress to improve professional development. Participate in the correct preparation of the annual budget. Control over the cash forecast to guarantee compliance with the Group's obligations in Spain Lead the reporting of information required by banks and minority shareholders. Ensure compliance with the conditions of the project financing contracts. Participation in the development and growth processes of the group in Spain Other ad hoc tasks
