AZUL HANDLING, in co-operation with our partner airline RYANAIR, is currently looking for a FLIGHT OPERATIONS CONTROLLER in our OCC Department in our Head Office team in Seville, Spain.

ROLE
Based in our Head Office in Seville, the successful candidate will work in our Operations Control Center. This is an excellent opportunity to join Europe's leading airline and to gain experience in a busy working environment. This role involves shift work. As a FLIGHT OPERATIONS CONTROLLER (FOPS) and reporting to the OCC Lead Agent, your duties will include (but not limited to):
- Flight-following;
- Management of safe, on-time flight operations and monitoring of efficient aircraft deployment;
- Planning for and reacting to flight schedule disruptions such as strikes, technical failures, airport/airspace congestion, weather, developing solutions in the most efficient and cost-effective way;
- Implementing solutions to operational or crewing problems;
- Preparation of operational paperwork;
- Aircraft allocation for the following day;
- Develop and production of reports in an accurate and timely manner to extract and collect required data according to the business needs;
- Coordinate and produce informative reports between Ryanair, airports and Azul Handling on key performance areas such as punctuality, cancelations, operational improvement, safety and security audits, or any other as required by the business needs;
- Other duties as requested by OCC Lead Agent/Ops Control Management/Azul Management.
- Fluent Spanish and English required
- High degree of flexibility will be required and the successful candidate should possess:
- Demonstrated previous experience in OCC or airport/handling/airline operations department (2+ years).
- The ability to work and communicate effectively under pressure
- Fluent Spanish and English required
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good interpersonal skills and strong outgoing personality
- Proven ability to work under pressure
- A good telephone manner
- Computer knowledge advanced (MS Word, Excel)
- Available to live in Seville
