Africa Print Category Head will join the Middle East & Africa Print category team. The team is responsible for Printing 4Ps and P&L Management of the wider and complex geography of Middle East & Africa (overall 75 countries). Our wide market will bring great opportunities for the new category manager joining the team.
We are searching for a Print Category Manager who will lead the teams & be responsible for the 2 Africa clusters: Southern & central Africa & Northwest Africa & islands. The Category Manager is leading the team that is responsible for product line management and contribution to defining business plans and development initiatives. The role collaborates with different connecting functions for seamless execution and monitors KPIs to identify improvement areas. The role demonstrates a broad understanding of product categories, gathers customer feedback, and builds relationships with partners.
While the role's key responsibilities have a clear country focus for Africa, it will be required to participate in the geo projects, bring best cluster insights and knowledge consistently across MEA.
RTM focus: Commercial channel, End User and Retail Channel
Connecting functions: Marketing, Channel sales, Print HW, End User, legal, Distribution, Sales Operations
Print Category Manager Key responsibilities:
4Ps Management. Drive Print & Supplies product life cycle in Middle East (NPI / EOL). Lead Product RTM strategy and align communication needs with marketing.
P&L Management: Forecasting, planning (quarter, annual and long term), delivering financial & operational metrics. Contra management and approver at partner level.
Lead key initiatives to drive Market share in clusters
Frontline Print & Supplies Champion – Share printing value proposition internally to all connecting functions and externally to channel partners and Extended Sales Force.
Lead transformation projects in Africa
Education and Experience Required:
Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in category management, P&L management, or a related field.
Skills:
Business planning and Analytical skills.
Business development skills
Comfortable to manage complex data.
Effective communication skills at senior management internally and externally.
Ability to frame the product value proposition to customers/partners. Customer Relationship Management.
