El Plantio International School of Valencia was established in 1972 and is a British school for children aged 2-18 located near the vibrant city of Valencia with 570+ students. The School has a strong international perspective and we follow the National Curriculum for England and the IB Diploma and can count on over 50 years experience delivering a high quality education to our students. We are an examination centre for iGCSE using Cambridge Assessment and we are an International Baccalaureate World School. English is the principal language of teaching with the compulsory elements of the Spanish curriculum also taught.
We can only consider applicants who have entitlement to work in the European Union.
The successful applicant will have the following:
Essential Requirements:
· A minimum of 2 years of solid and demonstrable teaching experience
· A certified teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent
· The desire to provide outstanding teaching and learning
· Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents
· A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
· Entitlement to work in the European Union.
Desirable Requirements (not essential):
· Previous experience in an International School environment
· Industry experience is desirable
· Experience of teaching to English as an Additional Language learners
