Job Description

IDIADA is looking for a highly motivated electric, electronic or telecommunication engineer to work with electric vehicles. The candidate will collaborate in a leading team with electric vehicle charging technologies, combining knowledge of communication protocols and general electric safety topics.

One of the main challenges of this sector is to develop and validate safe and reliable high power charging systems which enable that electric mobility becomes accessible and attractive for all types of electrified vehicles.

Responsibilities

Definition of test cases based on customer requirements and charging standardsPlan, prepare and carry out charge tests in our workshops and in-fieldAnalyse test results and report to customersCommunication with customers and suppliers of charging equipmentMonitor technicians in those jobs

Qualifications

Profile

Analytical capacity of electronic and electrical circuitsCapable of working with automotive high voltage systemsBasic programming knowledge and knowledge in LabView is valuedBasic knowledge of network protocol analysis (IPv6, TCP and UDP) is valuedInterest in automotive and powertrain topics, especially electric vehiclesWillingness for moderate travel activityGood Communication skills

Education

Ms Degree in Engineering (electrical / electronic / Telecom / Industrial or similar)

Languages

B2 level in EnglishGerman welcome
