It will be your job to make sure the electrical equipment works on specific machinery - regardless of time of day and whether you are in Belgium, China or Chile. You will be one of our 6 Field Electrical and Mechanical Service Engineers, who perform the crucial on-location engineering and installation tasks that the rest of the organization depends upon.

This includes:

Instruction and supervision of clients and contractors in relation to the erection of our equipment.

Installation and the coordination of electrical installation tools and software.

Feedback and reporting on quality issues as well as as-built documentation.

Preparing inspection reports, including recommendations.

Provide troubleshooting role to ensure objectives are met and maintain product/project profitability.

Your qualifications:

You hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, and at least 2 years of industry experience.

As a true FLSmidth global Field Service Engineer, you are more than willing to cross the world, you are able to understand local client requirements and can combine your theoretical knowledge with hands-on problem solving, when things do not go according to plan.

Industry experience related to the APC industry, High Voltage applications, dedicated controllers or PLCs would be preferable.

You have good oral and excellent written communication skills. Naturally, you are proficient in English. Other language skills are more than welcome.

Also, you are well-founded on the Microsoft Office platform, AutoCAD as well as excellent understanding of Electrical and Mechanical documentation.
