Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join Aecom's Buildings and Places Team. The selected candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of architects, engineers, interior designers and urban planners working on a range of international projects.
No professional experience is required for this role.
This position would suit a student within Architecture's degree, wishing to start her/his career in Interior design and architecture, collaborating in real projects while applying BIM methodology on all of them.
During the internship you will give support in the following tasks:
- Development of a wide range of projects: interior design, architectural, competitions, etc.
- Preparation of designs and drawings using project specifications and discipline-associated instructions per established design practices.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- No professional experience is required
- Knowledge in these software applications:
- Autocad, Sketch Up, Adobe Suite (Photoshop and InDesign) and MS Office will be a must.
- Interpersonal and teamwork exceptional skills
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
- A willingness to learn and share knowledge
- Basic understanding of BIM (Building Information Modelling process) and Revit modelling will be a plus.
