From The Westin Valencia we are looking for incorporate an Internacional sales Specialist to join our sales team.The candidate must meet the following functions:
- Actively participation in sales presentations, property tours and customer meetings
- Update managed account lists, data bases, mailing lists, accounts on a regular basis
- Assisting DOS when necessary with group enquiries' or when she is out of the office on business trip, attending tradeshows, sales calls etc.
- Conduct a minimum of 2 sales calls per day
- Participate in sales blitzes, trade shows, workshops and sales trips as appropriate
- Achieve room nights & revenue targets as set with the DOS
- Handling site inspections at the hotel when necessary
- Assisting in the creation of monthly newsletters to be emailed to clients advising of special group offers, hotel news, refurbishments, special promotions, etc.
- Usage of Marriott programs and others, such as Opera, to develop brand loyalty and meet departmental targets.
- Within established parameters, quote and negotiate prices with customers and customer representatives, and draw up contracts to close the transaction.
- Follow up with appropriate departments to ensure delivery of excellent guest service as appropriate
- Travelling 50% of the workdays.
- Additional duties as necessary and assigned
Requirements:
Hotel Management School Diploma - Sales & Revenue.
Experience of at least 2 years prior in international Sales & Marketing roleSpanish / English:
C2 level - French or German level C1 will be a plus.
