Specialist in internal medicine for permanent position in the middle of SwedenYou will join a regional hospital offering 24/7 emergency services and comprehensive medical care. The facility operates in modern premises and follows a patient-centered model focused on seamless care pathways and high professional standards. The guiding vision is clear: a hospital where we would choose to be patients ourselves.Your roleAs a specialist in internal medicine, you will independently assess, diagnose, treat, and follow up patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where collaboration, evidence-based practice, and continuous development are integrated into daily work.Work includes: Investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of internal medicine conditions (cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, endocrinology). Responsibility for ward patients and participation in on-call/emergency work depending on the organizational structure. Coordination of care between specialties and care levels. Long-term follow-up of chronic diseases and secondary prevention. Supervision of junior doctors.This position is on-site in Sweden.
