Associate Music Publicist, EU Events & FestivalsINFAMOUS Public RelationsBarcelona, Spain (Hybrid – 3 in-person days/week) or Remote | Half-Time 20hrs pw.  OVERVIEWINFAMOUS PR is a global communications agency shaping cultural conversations around music, events, nightlife, and brands. We are seeking an Associate Music Publicist, to support PR, media relations, creator campaigns, and creative partnership outreach across our roster of festivals, live events and brand campaigns across EU markets. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes electronic music and festival culture, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants hands-on experience working across some of the most influential events in Europe, with a particular focus on Spain. You will contribute to overall press strategy, manage media, creator and partnership outreach, coordinate with internal and external artist teams, help run on-site media operations and logistics, and support international visibility for our festival clients.This position reports to Lead Publicist EU. REQUIREMENTSExperience1-2 years of PR experience within music, entertainment, live events, or culture (agency experience preferred)On-site music event or festival experience Bachelor’s degree. SkillsExceptional writing abilities for pitches, press releases, strategic notes, and recapsStrong communication skills (verbal + written)Spoken and written Fluency in English, Spanish and preferably 1 other European language (French, German, Italian) Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple timelines and shifting prioritiesFluency in AI tools ie ChatGPTProficiency with Slack, Asana, Mailchimp, and Google WorkspaceDeep understanding of electronic music, festivals, nightlife, and the dance music media landscape across territories. Awareness of and passionate interest in wider cultural landscape, Fashion, art, design, photography, film, and the places that these disciplines intersect with electronic music. Awareness of and engagement with emerging trends in communication - substack, discord, livestreaming platforms, community radio etc. Willingness to engage in new strategies, experiment and pivotAbility to maintain professionalism around high-profile clients, artists, and partnersKnowledge of dance music editorial outlets and regional music publications preferredCAMPAIGN EXECUTIONPitch and secure media coverage across dance music editorial outlets. Execute detailed research for each campaign, ensuring accurate brand-media fit. Lead artist outreach across festival lineups, coordinating interviews, editorial opportunities, mix series, exclusive playlists and playlist takeovers, multi-artist features, and social content initiativesPitch and secure pre-promotional driven activity including but not limited to online / social giveaways, event and artist previews, and other creative previews tied to the specific client’s themes and ethosManage audio recording distribution programs, including approvals and delivery (e.g., Apple Music DJ Mixes)Manage commercial and college radio relations by market, including ticket giveaways, interviews, mixes, and in-studio visitsDistribute all hard news announcements—lineup announcements, partner news, and key marketing moments—to relevant press verticalsLead outbound outreach, research, negotiations, and coverage tracking for the Creator Program, with direction and oversight from Senior Publicist and VP of EventsConduct creative partnership outreach to brands, local businesses, hospitality partners, nightlife collectives, and cultural organizations to drive promotional opportunitiesSupport on-site festival press operations, including interview coordination, creator and media hosting, and partnership initiativesADMINISTRATIVE & CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIESOversee campaign planners, media grids, tracking sheets, and client-ready reportingManage press lists, approvals/denials, credential allocation, advancing, and all festival press logisticsMaintain close media relationships across verticals and stay across shifts in the industry. Draft meeting agendas, take detailed notes on all client calls, and deliver clear action itemsMaintain shared databases across media, creators, focus markets, and cultural partnershipsHandle Mailchimp distribution for announcements, media alert blasts, segmentation, and audience managementTrack successes and collate reports for all active campaigns.Keep internal workflow documents updated in real time across all active campaignsSupport cross-division communication to ensure deliverables and timelines remain alignedCREATOR PROGRAMLead all outreach, research, coverage and exchange negotiations, coverage tracking, and deliverable managementIdentify content creators across lifestyle, nightlife, music, fashion, travel, and other key verticals as determined by client need, as well as key regional marketsWork with Lead Publicist and EU events Lead to shape strategic creator approaches and overall campaign structureEnsure creators receive briefs, credentials, timelines, deliverables guidance, and necessary assetsTrack creator coverage and compile post-campaign reportingCREATIVE PARTNERSHIP OUTREACHIdentify and pitch local businesses, hospitality partners, nightlife collectives, and community organizations for promotional opportunitiesBuild culture-forward partnership concepts including co-branded content, curated experiences, retail tie-ins, product seeding, giveaways, and digital storytellingDevelop partnership briefs and assist in negotiating deliverables, coverage expectations, and mutual promotional value with support from VP and Senior PublicistON-SITE FESTIVAL PRESS SUPPORTExecute on-the-ground press operations including interviews, creator management, media escorting, and opportunity coordinationFacilitate real-time content and social takeoversRepresent INFAMOUS as an external-facing lead at festivals and industry eventsOPERATIONS & CULTUREContribute ideas in team brainstorms and support creative growth within the EU divisionParticipate in weekly team meetings and cross-division coordinationAssist with training and supporting interns within the divisionRepresent INFAMOUS at relevant industry events, shows, festivals, and cultural gatheringsCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS€20-25k annual salary range (part time / Self employed / autonomo)
