We are seeking a skilled Mobile Developer to join our team at nextbit, where you will leverage your experience in developing efficient apps for Android and iOS, both online and offline.
About the Role:- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in mobile development with Xamarin and MAUI;
- Strong understanding of SQLite or Realm for offline data storage and synchronization;
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs for online data communication;
- Experience with Firebase or Azure for mobile backend and data synchronization;
- Mastery of architecture patterns such as MVVM;
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT and mobile security practices (e.g. local encryption);
- Proficiency in CI/CD and familiarity with Git and deployment pipelines;
- Experience in offline-first development, ensuring that key functionalities are available even without an internet connection;
- Familiarity with Geolocation and Maps (e.g., Google Maps SDK, MapKit);
- Experience with automated tests (e.g., Xamarin.UITest, Appium) and performance monitoring practices;
- Exceptional ability to analyze and solve complex problems in a production environment.
- Taking full ownership of functionality development, from technical design to final delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency;
- Collaborating proactively with the architecture, quality and product teams to influence technical decisions and propose innovative solutions that enhance scalability and efficiency;
- Optimizing the offline experience by applying good caching and data synchronization practices;
- Developing and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration, e2e) to ensure code compliance with company standards;
- Leading code reviews for colleagues, providing constructive feedback and promoting best practices;
- Monitoring and improving application performance in production environments using profiling and performance analysis tools;
- Staying up-to-date with trends and new mobile technologies, sharing knowledge with the team and proposing new tools and practices;
- Participating actively in strategic decisions on product architecture to ensure solutions meet business needs and can scale with growth.
