About the Role:
The Team Manager in the Bakery business unit (Production department) is responsible for organizing and assisting the assigned shift to carry out production plans within the agreed time schedules, defined quality standards, and budgetary controls. The role involves supervising and managing operators to operate efficiently within safety and quality standards.
Activities:
- Training and Safety: To plan all necessary training for staff to maximize efficiencies and safety within the department.
- Quality: To optimize quality to ensure products meet all specifications.
- Service: To maximize the service of the department to internal customers by meeting forecasted volume demands.
- Costs: To optimize yield and wastage to maximize the department's profitability contribution to overall operations.
- Achieve: To meet the shift's targeted production plan within the scheduled time.
- Hygiene: Ensure production techniques are carried out under the highest hygienic conditions to prevent micro-contaminations.
- Maintenance: Follow up on production preventive maintenance schedules and ensure all PPM schedules are completed on time.
Requirements:
The potential candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in production.
- Strong knowledge of and commitment to workplace safety standards and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience supervising a team.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Focus on maintaining and improving productivity levels.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
