We're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who thrives on building resilient systems, optimizing security operations, and automating at scale . If you love digging deep into network security, fine-tuning mitigation strategies, and developing high-performance security solutions , we'd love to meet you

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with System Administrators and Network Engineers to develop and maintain our defense platforms , ensuring the security of our hosting products and infrastructure. From DDoS mitigation to Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Zero Trust frameworks, and CDN optimizations , you'll help shape the backbone of our cybersecurity strategy.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design and refine security mechanisms to counter DDoS attacks across multiple layers.
  • Develop and optimize automation pipelines for real-time threat detection and mitigation.
  • Enhance system reliability by streamlining operational workflows and automating repetitive tasks.
  • Build and maintain integration interfaces, ensuring seamless adoption of security solutions across our products.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve our distributed security infrastructure, participating in on-call rotations.
  • Bring fresh ideas to DevOps, lifecycle management, and system resilience strategies.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience .
  • A problem-solving mindset , with a strong focus on system reliability and security.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining highly available infrastructure using:

- Go, C, Python, PHP, or Bash .

- Lua scripting for Nginx (big plus).

  • Experience configuring and operating Nginx as a reverse proxy or WAF .
  • An automation-first approach —you prefer writing scripts over manual fixes.
  • Familiarity with BGP, flowspec, anycast routing , and networking protocols on Linux .
  • The ability to analyze attack patterns , develop countermeasures, and continuously improve security frameworks.
  • A strong commitment to Open Source technologies, particularly Linux .
  • Fluency in English (German is a plus).
