RED has a new opportunity for a Senior SAP EWM MFS Consultant. The client is urgently looking to fill this position for a new implementation project. The contract is remote, initially lasting 6 months with potential extension.
- Title : Senior SAP EWM-MFS
- Duration : 6 months + extension
- Work capacity : Remote, Full-time, 5 days / week, 8 hours / day
Key Responsibilities :
- Gathering requirements from the business for warehouse processes
- Designing and configuring the Warehouse Management System based on requirements and use cases
- Conducting Show and Tell sessions to demonstrate warehouse processes with SAP EWM
- Designing interface specifications for interaction with external systems and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)
- Preparing documentation such as Blueprint, High-Level Design, Functional Specification, and Testing documents
- Developing Proof of Concepts supporting the design
- Configuring and customizing EWM warehouse processes like Inbound, Outbound, and Internal processes
- Configuring settings in EWM such as Warehouse Number, WPT, Inbound / Outbound Documents, WOCR, POSC, Queue & Resource Management, EGR, PMR, ERP integrations, Cross Docking, etc.
- Configuring and customizing EWM MFS settings including PLC, communication points, LOSC, MFS Actions, Telegrams, etc.
- Performing testing phases like Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and Pre-go live Smoke Testing, preparing test cases, and collaborating with dependent teams
- Conducting physical testing with automation equipment such as AGVs, cranes, conveyors, automated warehouses
- Integration with labeling and printing systems
- Executing cutover activities for go-live and providing post go-live hyper care support
