Key Activities

  • Leading, managing, and controlling all accounting activities with timely updates/posting of all related transactions with documentation approvals.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures and related regulations (A/P, A/R, banks, GL, fixed assets, tax, etc).
  • Hard closing, taxes, and treasury functions.
  • Approving all types of accounting documents.
  • Ensuring contractual payment terms from an A/R point of view.
  • Leading the team to ensure contract compliance for collections from customers.
  • Checking A/R reporting weekly, including advances and sales invoices on time (EPC till COD, operational sales invoices with NEOM after COD, refunding extra billing).
  • Controlling all payments for interest, commitment fees, global fees, security fees, and IRS payments.
  • Leading cost and project controlling in accordance with approved budgets and plans.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships with key accounting, tax, auditor, insurance, banks, investments, and other service providers.
  • Ensuring reconciliations of assets and liabilities accounts, required adjustments, and preparing trial balances for SPVs, which should be updated monthly.
  • Overseeing the company's financial activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
  • Managing OPEX and CAPEX budgeting and budget controlling for all operational and investment activities.
  • Identifying and addressing potential risks and opportunities for optimization and cost savings for the company.
  • Preparing monthly and periodic financial reporting for predefined and improved reporting packages, as well as project management requirements (costing, LGs, banks, assets capitalization values, hedging, cash flow statements, TBs, PL, BS).
  • Preparing annual and periodic financial statements in compliance with professional regulations and standards (IFRS).
  • Managing all tax return types (VAT, WHT, CIT, Zakat, etc.) and ensuring compliance with regulations in coordination with the Central Tax department.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Good knowledge of Saudi regulations.
  • Strong accounting and analytical reporting skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • FMVA (Financial Modelling Valuation Analyst) certification is preferred.
