The Digital Transformation Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the digital transformation efforts within our academic team, which supports undergraduate and master's programs. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive change, foster innovation, and optimize processes to enhance the student experience and operational efficiency.

This role reports directly to the Executive Director of Operational Excellence and Innovation and works closely with the Executive Director of Academic Operations and Compliance , sharing responsibility for the operational efficiency for all the operations performed.

Responsibilities

Your role as Digital Transformation Manager will involve:

  • Drive Digital Transformation: Lead the implementation of digital strategies that align with institutional goals and objectives.
  • Strategic Projects: Manage and oversee key initiatives that support the digital roadmap.
  • Foster Innovation: Encourage a culture of experimentation and adoption of emerging technologies to improve academic operations.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and data insights to inform strategy and measure success.
  • Transformational Change: Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes.
  • Pilot and Scale New Ideas: Test innovative solutions in small-scale environments before full-scale implementation.
  • Enhance Student Experience: Develop and implement digital solutions that improve engagement and learning experiences.
  • Build a Culture of Innovation: Promote a forward-thinking mindset across academic teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess and refine digital processes to ensure ongoing optimization.
  • Resource Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and make the best use of available resources.
  • Measure the Impact of Change: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the effectiveness of transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure Successful Adoption: Collaborate across teams to drive process adoption, including self-adoption and advocacy.
Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
  • Proven experience leading digital transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements, with at least 3 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Background in consulting, with hands-on experience implementing Gen AI, RPA, and data visualization solutions (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Technical proficiency in coding (Python, SQL, JavaScript) for automation and AI-driven solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of the latest technology trends, including cloud computing, AI, machine learning, and process automation.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and experience driving agile transformation in organizations.
  • Strong change management skills, ensuring successful adoption of digital initiatives and cultural transformation.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset, using analytics to optimize business processes and improve decision-making.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams.
  • Familiarity with digital tools, platforms, and emerging trends in higher education.
