Position:

Technical Service Specialist - MELILLA

Primary Goal of the Role:

The Technical Service Specialist role involves conducting planned maintenance tasks, implementing hardware and software upgrades, offering initial level one support, and assisting with equipment installations and removals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivering initial support to Abbott Ambassadors for service tasks requiring less than 4 hours of work.
  • Scheduling and executing planned maintenance activities.
  • Supporting instrument installations and deinstallations.

Performance in this position is assessed based on customer satisfaction (NPS), meeting service key performance indicators, and contributing to the economic growth and profitability per district.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree is essential, with a preference for a degree in medical, electrical, mechanical engineering, or medical technology.

Experience:

A successful track record in a similar role endorsed by management and customer referrals, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience. Effective engagement with customers, particularly laboratory personnel, technical expertise in the product line, excellent communication skills, adept at issue resolution, and proficient in analytical tools and software.
