Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Here are some of the responsibilities you will be tasked with:
Area 1: Deal Support
The role of a Digital Solution Advisor Senior Specialist is crucial in shaping and delivering compelling sales presentations on SAP and partner software solutions, tailored specifically for discerning audiences, including senior company executives. Their refined approach is evident in the personalized materials to ensure each presentation resonates with its audience. Through collaboration with various teams, they will deeply understand our customers' viewpoints, skillfully connecting their challenges with our cutting-edge solutions to weave an engaging narrative. A key focus will be curating and maintaining an intricate asset library, prioritizing volume and efficiency in our transaction methods. As seasoned specialists, they won't just create presentations; they will conduct in-depth discovery sessions with potential clients, laying the groundwork for enduring relationships. Their extensive knowledge of SAP solutions and industry intricacies will enhance their credibility, complemented by compelling customer success stories. Furthermore, they will excel in creating customer roadmaps, guiding them from their current IT landscapes to innovative Cloud environments. Their role also extends to optimizing RFx completions, ensuring our proposals reflect expertise. In line with the digital era, they will utilize tools such as the SAP Virtual Studio and OBS technology to ensure their remote presentations are as impactful as in-person interactions. Their involvement extends beyond the sale, overseeing seamless transitions, and leading the narrative for significant events and presentations.
Area 2: Demand Generation
A Digital Solution Advisor Senior Specialist will play a vital role in driving demand generation. Their expertise goes beyond theoretical knowledge, leading webinars and collaborating with Marketing and DG teams to maintain a proactive outreach strategy. Their profound understanding enables them to advise on APM and TPM, positioning themselves as experts in SAP's solution portfolio. Their partnership with DG and marketing teams takes on a strategic dimension, shaping our demand generation narrative to emphasize our unique value propositions and address the core challenges of our target audience.
Area 3: Digital Content for Customer-Facing Situations
Utilizing their expertise in SAP offerings, they will not only curate but also innovate digital content for customer-facing scenarios. By aligning content with advanced solution insights and market trends, they ensure our digital materials are strategically positioned to address intricate customer needs.
Area 4: Sales Enablement
With their advanced knowledge, a Digital Solution Advisor Senior Specialist plays a pivotal role in sales enablement. They lead training sessions, imparting nuanced understanding and actionable insights. Their expertise ensures the sales team can effectively communicate product functionalities as tangible benefits for clients.
Experience and Language Requirement
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering, computer science, or related business fields preferred
- Extensive consulting background with SAP ERP in areas such as Sales and Distribution, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Sales, Transportation, and Finance
- A candidate with a strong blend of digital proficiency, technical acumen, and customer engagement experience is sought. Possessing a solid foundation of 4-5 years in (digital) presales, technology consulting, or a similar customer-facing role is crucial, along with a proven proficiency in at least one solution/LoB segment, coupled with a track record of leveraging digital tools and methodologies to drive sales and client engagement
- A proven track record of 3-4 successful implementations in the aforementioned domains is required
- A thorough understanding of business processes in the specified domains
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Good knowledge of SAP S4 HANA (Public and/or Private cloud editions) or SAP BYD is advantageous
- Possessing presales experience is beneficial
- Fluency in English and Italian with a preference for Spanish language skills
- The ideal candidate has a history of successfully navigating complex digital solution presentations, adeptly handling technical challenges, and fostering collaborative relationships between sales, technical, and digital teams
- Experience in driving digital transformation in presales, advocating for innovative digital tools adoption, and guiding teams through intricate digital sales cycles is crucial
