We seek a skilled Cloud Platform System Engineer with a strong inclination towards scripting, coding, and automation. A solid grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle and proficiency in various automation tools is essential for building digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines) and streamlining the development process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Create, enhance, and optimize delivery/development procedures and systems
  • Engage in the architecture, design, deployment, and upkeep phases of software
  • Manage infrastructure, configuration, and monitoring using "Infrastructure as Code"
  • Maintain the smooth operation of production systems and ensure system availability
  • Collaborate with Senior System Engineers/DevOps professionals

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • 5+ years in System Administration
  • or 3+ years in DevOps/SRE
  • Expertise in automation development
  • Strong Linux administration capabilities
  • Proficiency in configuration management (Ansible)
  • Intermediate skills in Python/Bash/Groovy/PHP development with an understanding of structural differences
  • Knowledge of network stack components (NGINX, DNS, DHCP, PXE) and distinctions between firewall, routing, NAT
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD principles
  • Familiarity with virtualization, containerization, provision, and orchestration systems
  • Knowledge of public and hybrid clouds
  • Effective communication skills for global team collaboration
  • Upper-intermediate level of English proficiency
