Job Description:

The Logistics Coordinator is a key link in our Supply Chain.

In his role, the person is responsible, among other things, for enforcing the logistics strategy including delivery tracking, document tracking and supervision of service providers in order to optimize the global supply chain, and efficiently and competitively.

• Monitor all logistics activities (preparation, routes, permits, insurance, loading, transport, escort) of equipment until final delivery to the site;
• Check documents for storage, packaging, transport, customs, etc.
• Manage business relations between Enerkem and its logistics partners;
• Participate in the development of new processes to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Degree in transport logistics and/or administration or other related diploma or experience deemed equivalent.
• Between 5 and 10 years of experience in heavy equipment transport logistics for largescale projects (TL & LTL), preferably in the industrial sector or in the heavy industry sector (petrochemical industry, mining, pulp and paper or hydroelectric);
• Experience in nonstandard road transport logistics (Classes 1, 6 and 7 permits) and rail (asset);
• International logistics experience with 3PL partners (an asset);
• Experience in negotiating, drafting and administering contracts, particularly with legal documents;
• Knowledge of Load Xpert software (an asset)
• Knowledge of software (Microsoft Office Suite)

• Availability to spend 10% to 20% of time traveling;
• Fluency in English (oral and written)
• Knowledge of French and Spanish an asset.
