Description We're hiring a Procurement Associate Learn how you can be our voice in the conversation about the future of agriculture.

As Procurement Associate, you will manage internal purchasing requests for a certain commodity and / or geographic area within E AME regions (Europe, Africa & Middle East), and all activities associated with the buying process complying with Corteva's policies

You Will Be Part of Growing Team You will join the Corteva Procurement Service Center in Asturias, which is part of the global service center within global Procurement (Purchasing, Sourcing and Logistics).



Your Challenge Procurement Front Desk:

Provide support in local language to internal and external customers on their questions/needs around the Requisition to Pay (RTP) process.

Execute the buy process for low value and non-strategic goods & services in an efficient manner.

Manage own portfolio of tactical buy in certain commodity and/or geographic area (negotiations, contract management, white papers) Provide transactional system and process support to Corteva strategic buying team.

Create and maintain purchasing documents in Corteva's systems. Resolve payment problems (investigation and improvement).

Vendor Master Management:
Create, maintain and approve suppliers in Corteva's systems. Monitor and execute all transactions according to Corteva's internal controls and policies. Communicate and coordinate actions among all internal and external stake-holders to effectively assure supply of goods and services. Administration and reporting as necessary (from Corteva systems and external sources).

Liaise with regional and global buying teams, providing information & analytical support in alignment with their goals on portfolio management and savings.

Drive continuous improvement / process optimization on specific areas of the RTP process. Location Tamón, Asturias

Qualifications To Grow What Matters, You Will Need Minimum 2 years of experience in Procurement. University degree. Proficiency in written and Spoken English and Hungarian is a must. Any other additional European language will be valued. Commodity knowledge preferred. Commitment to the Corteva's Core for Life Values. As a key connect between clients, suppliers and buyers, candidates must exhibit a high degree of professionalism and tact. Self-driven, results oriented with positive attitude towards changes and new challenges. Reliable, mature and adaptive person. Candidates must possess strong computer (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, SharePoint) capability. Experience with SAP, SRM and/or Ariba will be highly valued. Able to build rapport with a diverse workforce in multicultural and dynamic work environment. Confident, fast learner and hard-worker.
