Job Profile
The Digital Deal Strategy & Support team helps account executives at SAP be more productive, increase our opportunity win rates and time-to-revenue. Employees working in this team usually have previous sales experience and feel comfortable managing complex deals externally (with Partners & Customers) and internally (with SAP stakeholders).
As a Digital Deal Strategy Associate, you will be part of the EMEA Digital Deal Strategy & Support Team, a group of experts and champions who advise SAP's sales organization on Deal Strategy, Structuring, and Closure of complex opportunities in the EMEA midmarket (Europe, Middle-East & Africa). This role is crucial within the EMEA Midmarket organization, acting as the primary contact for SAP Sales Executives, supporting them with deal management and quote fulfillment for their cloud deals, aiming to streamline internal sales procedures for more strategic customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Act as the main point of contact and support for SAP Sales Executives in EMEA, helping them navigate their sales cycles and prioritize customer engagements.
- Proposal and Quote Management: Play a crucial role in crafting compelling proposals and quotes for current and prospective clients.
- Collaborative Pricing and Contract Management: Collaborate closely with Sales Executives on pricing strategies, quoting processes, and contract management. Focus on volume business and revenue growth.
- People-Centric Approach: Embrace a people-oriented mindset, building trust and lasting relationships with Sales Executives.
Other Responsibilities Include:
- Support the enablement and mentorship of account executives on complex quotation management, processes, and systems
- Assist in translating customers' business requirements into the right product offering, sizing, and terms & conditions
- Liaise with other SAP teams when specialized support is necessary to ensure appropriate contract terms and customer experience
- Ensure all pre-approvals are obtained for a seamless quote approval process and manage quote creation and distribution
- Review order forms and contracts, advising on SAP compliance rules and legal regulations

Experience and Language Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
- 1-3 years of enterprise software sales experience preferred, with knowledge of Cloud technology in B2B environments
- Strong analytical, organizational, planning skills, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in communication
- Proficiency in MS Office and Teams, with a passion for technology sales, continuous learning, and a strong work ethic
