Your role

  • Join us in a GIA role for IT in the Spain Audit Team in our division located in Madrid.
  • The IT Auditor will be responsible for:
  • Performing all aspects of audit work, including risk assessment, planning, execution, reporting and issue assurance.
  • Risk focused audit work performed in accordance with GIA methodology and writing requirements.
  • Assessments and clear conclusions on the effectiveness of controls to manage risk and identification of the root cause of ineffective or missing controls.
  • Pragmatic recommendations for issue owners to consider while writing action plans for issues identified by GIA.
  • Continuing professional development and & training plan.

Your expertise

  • We are looking for:
  • At least three years of work experience relating to audit, accounting or in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of financial transactions and auditing financial process.
  • Basic understanding of risk and how controls can mitigate those risks while being commercial. Understanding of Spanish regulatory requirements would be advantageous but not requisite.
  • Proven analytical skills and keen to collaborate with data specialists to shape audit tests and acquire relevant insights from data.
  • Good time management skills and precision in delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and ability present information in a succinct and concise way.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, multitasking and time management skills enable you to quickly gain trust and deliver effectively towards deadlines.
