Signal Processing Engineer

Egatel, a technology company with 30 years of proven experience on the design and manufacturing of high-technology telecommunication products and with wide international recognition, has opened a selection process to incorporate a Signal Processing over FPGAs Engineer.

• Working Experience on FPGA/SoC development.
• Experience and solid foundation in signal processing and communications (RF, IQ, time/frequency domains, modulations, digital predistortions, etc.).
• Experience in hardware development, including the definition and commissioning of PCBAs and debugging of digital hardware.
• Solid experience with the Xilinx toolchain, as well as debugging methodologies like ChipScope or others.
• Design and implementation of algorithms and waveforms (MATLAB, VHDL).
• Design and development of IP Cores (timing blocks, signal processing algorithms...) for FPGAs.
• Design and development of interfaces between FPGAs and peripherals.
• Solid experience with VHDL (synthesis and verification).
• Management of instrumentation equipment: JTAG debuggers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, etc.
• Selfdriven and proactive person.
• Spoken and written English.

Egatel is based in a Technology Business Park, located 10 minutes away from the downtown of the city of Ourense, internationally knwon by its hot springs, ancient history and gastronomy.

The city is only 1 hour from the best beaches in Galicia and 2 hours from Madrid by AVE (High speed train).

The R&D team of Egatel is made up of highly qualified engineers with extensive experience in Hardware, Software and Radiofrequency design of telecommunications equipment.

The projects that the chosen person will carry out will involve in many cases a collaboration with technical departments of third-party companies at a national and international level.
