Are you ready to take on the role of full-time Project Engineering Manager for Urban Metro Projects in Madrid?

Your future role

Embrace a new challenge and bring your technical project management skills to the forefront in an innovative field. You will collaborate with a dynamic team and oversee the technical aspects of the project or tender. Your daily tasks will involve close teamwork with different departments such as engineering and project management. You will be responsible for defining and validating the Transport System Solution, managing technical consistency, interfaces, quality, cost, and timelines.

This role entails:

  • Overseeing the technical scope of the project to ensure customer acceptance
  • Managing technical risks and devising mitigation strategies
  • Handling variations in the contractual scope alongside the Project Manager
  • Validating design choices with peers and the Solution Director
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations in the customer's location

Having an engineering background is essential. 3-5 years of experience in METRO systems are required. Previous exposure to project management is beneficial, as is working in cross-functional teams. Familiarity with the rail industry and knowledge of Engineering tasks are advantageous. Proficiency in English is necessary, while fluency in French is a plus.
