About the job


Your main role at IOMED will be to actively contribute to the strategic direction and overall performance of the business, reporting and working closely with Directors of the company, making sure that the adequate financial decisions are being taken and seizing opportunities for improvement.

About you

You will be working in a very dynamic and innovative environment. As such, you will have to be ahead of the steps of Head of Departments and Level Cs.

It will be your responsibility to coordinate finances from scratch, in all countries in which IOMED will land, as well as to provide advice on financial decisions.

You will have to be highly resilient, an agile learner motivated by challenges.


In terms of personality, we are looking for someone who can take the initiative when it comes to scaling up the company.

Highly driven and with strong interpersonal skills, which makes you a respected leader. Diligent, neat, accurate, with high working.

Tareas

Tasks

You can definitely expect to:

  • Manage the financial business planning process (budgets, forecasts and long term plans)
  • Manage the monthly reporting, cash flows, financial review for Spain and several EU countries.
  • Monitor KPIs, highlight opportunities and potential threats. Proactively propose optimisation and mitigation actions in collaboration with the Heads of Department and levels C.
  • Coordinate with tax advisors.
  • Coordinate with external auditors.
  • Develop your own team for each country, in order to:
  • Carry out financial accounting and controlling, finance and tax compliance.
  • Monthend and yearend closing, bad debt monitoring and mitigation, banks administration and relationship, cash management, review of strategic funding, optimisation of working capital, etc.
  • Financial modeling and valuation analyses, due diligence management and Integrations.
  • Create compliance procedures and policies.

Requisitos:

What we are looking for

  • At least 7 years of working experience, of which 5 must be in a similar position.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field
  • MBA or similar postgraduate programme is a plus.
  • Experience in the lifesciences, health or pharmaceutical sector is a plus.
  • Experience in startups or in companies with subsidiaries is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills at a written and oral level, both in Spanish and English.
  • High level of English. Other languages will be a plus.
  • Analytically driven, you support your position with data through proven presentation skills.
  • Great organizational and leadership capacity.
