Los sistemas de meteorología de DTN recolectan, gestionan y difunden de forma eficiente, información ambiental para apoyar en las necesidades operacionales de los clientes.
DTN es propietaria de una tecnología para Sistemas de Meteorología Aeronáutica - el System MetConsole Aviation Weather Suite.Gracias a su Plataforma de Gestión de Datos Meteorológicos MetConsole, DTN proporciona un portfolio completo de soluciones de Sistemas de Observación Meteorológica (AWOS, RVR.
LLWAS/LiWAS, D-ATIS, D-VOLMET, entre otros), en cumplimiento con todos los requisitos y recomendaciones de la Organización Meteorológica Mundial (OMM) y la Organización de Aviación Civil Internacional (OACI).
La empresa cuenta con clientes como AEMET, AENA O INDRA SISTEMAS y sus soluciones de meteorología aeronáutica se han instalado en más de 350 aeropuertos en todo el mundo, incluyendo 2 de los 15 principales aeropuertos más concurridos en todo el mundo en términos de número de pasajeros: Aeropuerto de Schiphol en Ámsterdam (Holanda) y Aeropuerto de Frankfurt (Alemania).
PUESTO DE TRABAJO
El profesional que se incorpore debe ser experto en:
- El Sistema Automático de Observación Meteorológica (AWOS). Este sistema se encarga de medir todos los parámetros meteorológicos Velocidad y Dirección del Viento, Temperatura del Aire, Precipitación, Presión Atmosférica (QFE-QNH), Visibilidad (MOR
- Rango Óptico Meteorológico), Turbulencia en Altitud, etc.) en las instalaciones aeroportuarias, facilitando una base de datos a las autoridades responsables de la seguridad en el tráfico aéreo.
- El sistema de alerta de cizalladura del viento de bajo nível (LLWAS). Este sistema mide

- dirección
promedio del viento utilizando una red de estaciones
- de sensores remotos
- LLWAS compara los resultados en su área de operación para determinar el comportamiento de viento, sondeando cada estación remota en cada ciclo del sistema, proporcionando una base de datos de promedios de viento predominantes y estableciendo alertas de cizalladura del viento
Experiência requerida:
- Más de 10 años de experiência específica en Meteorología Aeronáutica.
- Más de 10 años de experiência en la instalación y mantenimiento de sistemas AWOS (Sistema Automático de Observación Meteorológica)
- Más de 10 años de experiência en la instalación y mantenimiento de sistemas LLWAS (Sistema de Alerta de Cizalladura del Viento a Baja Altura)
- Calibración de sensores meteorológicos y oceanográficos
- Instalación e integración de sistemas On Site.
- Fluidez en inglés
Tareas del puesto:
El AWOS and LLWAS System Expert se encargará de llevar a cabo proyectos de Meteorología Aeronáutica como LLWAS, ATIS, AWOS, LiWAS, así como otros en el campo de observación Meteorológica convencional, ejecutando actividades de fabricación, integración e instalación de sistemas en el sitio y su satisfactoria puesta en marcha.
El profesional es experto en la sofisticada Estación Meteorológica Automática basada en softwares que incluyen una interfaz de vanguardia analógica y digital y comunicaciones y placas de circuitos de control que requieren un alto nível de conocimientos de electrónica para solucionar problemas exclusivos de las condiciones meteorológicas.
Tareas concretas que llevará a cabo son:
- Configuración de componentes del sistema: sensores, dispositivos de comunicación, dataloggers, servidores, estaciones de trabajo, etc.
- Instalación de hardware de sistemas
- Pruebas de sistemas AWOS y LLWAS
- Conexiones y verificación eléctricas y de cableado
- Conexiones y verificación de comunicaciones
- Calibrado y configuraciones de sensores meteorológicos mediante protocolos de comunicaciones meterorologicas
- Diagnóstico y resolucionar problemas técnicos en los sistemas durante la fase de puesta en marcha
- Generación y programación de base de datos ("Installation kit") para instalación de estaciones de trabajo y servidores de procesamiento de información meteorológica.
- Configuración de interfaces de acuerdo a estándares y recomendaciones internacionales OACI y OMM.
