You will be part of Mambo, our key studio, contributing to Mob Control, Voodoo's flagship game. This team successfully transformed a simple hyper-casual game into a $100M revenue success and is now seeking assistance to elevate their position in the top-20 grossing list. Operating with a truly agile methodology, Mambo empowers its team with minimal micro-management.
Role:
- Engage in a live game with a substantial player base.
- Leverage your skills in Photoshop, Unity, and Blender (or other 3D software) to craft and implement top-notch visual effects.
- Integrate your creations into Unity and collaborate with developers to tackle technical hurdles.
- Apply both 2D and 3D techniques as required.
- Cooperate with art and design teams to produce visually stunning VFX for our live game content.
- Lead the VFX creation process from concept to execution, ensuring consistency and excellence throughout.
- Work closely with programmers to seamlessly embed VFX into the game engine.
Profile:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the mobile gaming industry, specializing in VFX.
- Robust portfolio demonstrating VFX projects from at least 3 distinct game launches.
- Proficient in Photoshop, Unity, and Blender (or similar 3D software).
- Expertise in crafting visually striking and technically optimized visual effects for games.
- Demonstrated problem-solving prowess and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
- Passionate about the mobile gaming industry and knowledgeable about leveraging data for decision-making.
- Strong artistic foundation and keen attention to detail.
