The Plastic Omnium Module division focuses on developing, assembling, and delivering sophisticated modules for mass production. The world leader, HBPO, now part of Plastic Omnium, excels in highly integrated modules such as front-end & cockpit modules, center consoles, and charge lid modules. Through innovative BEV architectures, they continuously create new modules with customized solutions.

What's the goal? To equip automakers with cutting-edge tools and solutions to drive the future of clean and connected vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the APQP process with suppliers to ensure successful launches aligning with OEM and IES requirements.
  • Coordinate and oversee supplier PPAP's for timely closure using supplier portals.
  • Collaborate with the POAE Plant SQE to address risks and containment during launches.
  • Handle program changes with suppliers 6 months post SOP.
  • Focus on on-time PPAP, APQP, Supplier ppm, and Green (non-event) launches.

Activities:

  • Contribute to selecting new suppliers and defining commodity strategies.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments with potential suppliers before nomination.
  • Manage the APQP/PPAP process with suppliers, ensuring on-time PPAP.

More Detailed Tasks:

Monitor APQP deliverables, analyze first off-tool parts, ensure a CONVERGENCE process for critical characteristics, oversee mountability and packaging validation, lead at supplier facilities, and validate ISAR with suppliers.

Prepare for Supplier Launch to SOP, supervise Supplier Ramp-up, conduct lessons learned sessions, and manage change transparently.

Support Supplier Development post-SOP with program performance analysis and lessons learned.

Competencies:

  • University degree (BSc or MSc) or equivalent.
  • 3 years' experience in the Automotive industry, Purchasing, Quality, or program management.
  • Experience with APQP and supplier management.
  • Good command of English, knowledge of supplier portal applications, and adherence to automotive global requirements.
  • Skills: rigor, collaboration, integrity, and perseverance.
