Responsibilities
- Create the design and implementation of a cuttingedge data environment, utilizing the Azure tool stack, Databricks, and other appropriate technologies to set new standards in data management and analytics.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to harmonize, optimize, and ensure the reusability of data across the organization, driving efficiency and innovation.
- Work collaboratively with a skilled team to explore and integrate modern data technologies and methodologies, contributing to the establishment of a stateoftheart data framework.
- Ensure agile practices are integral to our development and deployment of data solutions, making our processes adaptable, swift, and resulting in topnotch outcomes.
- This role is not just about building a data environment; it's about laying the foundation for our company's future, enabling us to lead the way in renewable energy through innovative data utilization and management.
Qualifications
- A completed university degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working within a data environment, with a strong emphasis on Azure tool stack. This should include handson experience in architecting, developing, and managing data solutions.
- Practical experience with Databricks, showcasing your ability to leverage such tools for data processing and analytics.
- A deep understanding of best practices in data management, including data harmonization, storage, and distribution. This includes knowledge of data quality, data integration, and data security principles.
- A track record of successfully working in datarelated roles, with a preference for those who have led projects or teams focusing on the creation and management of data environments.
- Familiarity with database technologies, data warehousing, and data modeling, underpinned by practical experience in relational databases and data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly comprehend complex issues, demonstrating an independent, proactive approach to problemsolving.
- The ability to articulate complex data concepts in a clear and understandable manner. Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of German or other languages is a plus.
