Line Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Line Engineer, your responsibilities in the Operations team include:

  • Define work procedures for the line, such as startup and stoppages, changeover, product changes, cleaning the machines and pipes, vision program, and consumables management.
  • Ensure standardization among all operations personnel.
  • Identify center lining values per format and machine and ensure their achievement.
  • Identify Quality devices and ensure the calibration program is implemented.
  • Monitor key line indicators and analyze causes like rejection rate per machine, O.E.E. decrease, breakdown analysis, timings, and wastage.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to address and eliminate root causes of deviations in OEE, cost, quality, and safety.
  • Identify resources needed internally and externally to resolve anomalies.
  • Actively contribute to process enhancements in the module to improve machine, facility, and human resource performance.
  • Identify training needs for line personnel and oversee training implementation.
  • Ensure continuous visual management of the line.
  • Ensure procedures promote safety during line operations.
  • Participate in the launch of new initiatives.

You will be part of a team consisting of Line and Process Engineers and Filling Operators, collaborating closely with departments like maintenance, engineering, quality, and HR. Within this team environment, you'll have the chance to learn from colleagues, innovate, and explore new ideas.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

If you are an experienced Line Engineer, results-driven, energized by a fast-paced, diverse, and international setting, and enjoy teamwork, then you are a great match for us. Additionally, you should have:

  • Engineering degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in industries like pharmacy, food, cosmetics, or automotive
  • Proficiency in office tools (Excel, PPT)
  • Analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
