Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells, leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM's offerings and technologies.

A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.


You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value.

You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills, work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.


Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Use your consulting skills and business knowledge to lead functional discussions to understand client's business challenges and address the solution architecture.
  • Translate client's business needs into business requirements and participate in the production of detailed design and technical specifications.
  • Understand the requirements, current state architecture of the enterprise and create roadmap for the future enhancements accordingly.
  • Collaborate with clients and development team to design and implement creative solutions to address client needs.
  • Establish and promote with internal teams the design and architecture guidelines, best practices, and standards.
  • Support the team on Design Thinking sessions or client presentations, translate insights from workshops and research into digital solutions
  • Identify business drivers and goals and develop compelling proposals and valuedriven business cases to achieve desired business outcomes

To develop these tasks you will need:

  • Be curious and open-minded
  • Previous experience in consultancy/IT projects with agile methodologies
  • Be an organised and methodical person
  • Solid knowledge in leading workshops with Design Thinking or other frameworks
  • Strong problem identification, conceptualization skills and solving capabilities
  • Be passionated by technology
  • Enjoy the collaborative work
  • Understand IBM culture and iX mindset
