Legal Counsel has arisen within Airbus, Getafe (Madrid).
The jobholder shall provide legal advice on all legal matters and will deal with files that might imply a substantial risk for the Company, not only in financial terms, but also from a reputational point of view.
In particular, the jobholder shall:
- Provide legal support to the Procurement Organization in the negotiation of the Procurement Contracts, including procurement for Services, as well as related NDAs, MoUs and support documents.
- Identify, assess and escalate legal and propose and implement solutions to mitigate such legal risks in an efficient, pragmatic and costeffective way.
- Provide legal support for the management and mitigation of contractual claims with customers, suppliers, industrial partners and/or industrial participants, including analysis and preparation of counterclaims, and drafting and negotiation of outofcourt settlements.
- Review and support of the wording of MoUs, MoAs, Teaming Agreements, Cooperation Agreements and other possible partnerships with customers or suppliers.
- Deal with other Spanish crossdivisional activities, including real estate, regulatory, IP management, Corporate, EU funding schemes, litigation and public procurement.
About you
- Qualified Lawyer with 35 years of postqualification experience gained either inhouse or in law firm in an international environment (including practice of civil and common law).
- Strong ability to deal with complex legal issues with a large financial impact and to undertake missions of contract negotiation and legal support in collaboration with crossfunctional teams and with external stakeholders.
- Result and team oriented and ability to work in an international, multicultural, fastmoving and complex/technical environment.
- Languages: Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Spanish and English. French, German or any other language would be a plus.
