As a member of our core platform engineering team based in Ireland, you'll play a pivotal role in developing the technical enablers that drive our entire system.
Your work will establish the foundational constructs that all engineering teams will adopt, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency.These core framework constructs will abstract key building blocks into composable ExpandNow versioned packages, that promote common usage patterns and enables us to monitor adoption of key upgrades (e.g., Security, Performance improvements, etc.).

Be part of ExpandNow Your Role Will Involve:
Working in an Agile environment, you will join a team of engineers working on greenfield products within ecommerce and fulfilment.
Working model will be remote/hybrid with teams located in Ireland, Spain & Eastern Europe.This is an opportunity to contribute to the design and build of our platform using the latest technology advancements and methodologies.
As well as developing software, you will also contribute to designs and peer reviews and work with a Product Owner and QA to ensure we deliver secure value-added software with quality engrained.
A strong work ethic with a can-do attitude is expected, alongside a culture of friendly collaboration and teamwork.You will strive for continuous improvement and to be part of a high performing team who delivers on its commitments.
You will be experienced with the Software development Lifecycle and how it applies to CI/CD using Domain Driven Design and Test Driven Development techniques.
You will have a keen interest in doing things the right way and for taking on new challenges.Proven experience in delivering .Net solutions & services that leverage Azure cloud services such as Cosmos, App Insights, Service Bus is a must have.
Minimum of 6 years experience working within software engineering teams in an Agile environment. Excellence in .Net Core with c# Proficiency in the Microsoft stack - .Net Core, Web Api, Azure Services (inclu. Cosmos, Sql Azure, App Insights, Service Bus, KeyVault, etc.), Azure Devops. Exposure to design/build of reliable distributed enterprise systems capable of scaling to serve high volumes of traffic. Experience in Event Driven Architecture, Microservices. Exposure to Container Technology (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) High attention to detail and willingness to take on complex technical challenges. Exposure to Co-Pilot for AI coding efficiency gains. Full understanding of the SDLC, with experience working with DDD, TDD, CI/CD. Actively contribute to design and the code review process. Ability and willingness to mentor junior developers Microsoft Azure / .Net certification an advantage.Challenging Projects:
