MISSION:

  • To contribute to Bial's strategic medical direction acting as engaging HCPs and patient, making sure that all legal framework is respected
    2.

MAIN ATTRIBUTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and execute an annual medical plan for the product/ therapeutic area in alignment with other Bial departments;
  • Revise marketing materials assuring compliance with product's SPC and the legal framework;
  • Participate in meetings with Business Units to make sure that the information of the products is correct;
  • Provide training to Medical Representatives and other Business Unit employs grating that accurate scientific information is provided for the promoted products;
  • Team up with Regulatory in the revision of products dossiers (Market Access), making all the necessary changes and ensuring that it is adequate for submission;
  • Manage Late Phase Medical Research (phase IV studies) contributing to real world evidence;
  • Manage/ engage KOLs in all medical projects including medical education events, participation in Late Phase studies and Medical and Scientific Communication;
  • Collect and notify Pharmacovigilance on adverse events;
  • Reply to MEDICAL inquires (medical information) from patients/ Doctors and other HCPs;
  • Guide the activity in order to comply with the policies defined in the Quality, R&D, Environment and IDI In health and Safety and Regulatory Procedures to him concerned;
  • Collaborate on any other activities or task from the department/ area, when necessary.

PREFERENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND FACTORS:

  • Medical degree (preferred) or degree in Health Sciences or similar;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs;
  • Clinical and/or research experience in CNS;
  • Good communication skills (verbal, written and presentations)
  • Fluency in English (oral and written);
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work in crossfunctional teams;
  • Experience of relevant pharamceutical industry guidelines;
  • Analitycal sense and a solid understanding of research methodology;
  • Solid Computer skills.
  • Training in Management and Business Strategy (preferred).
