About the Job Title and Company:

Our office in Madrid is a leading R&D Center in the connected smart home market. Here we develop services and products for home security and home automation. We specialize in home safety and customer integrity issues, with over 25 years of experience. We handle most tasks internally to ensure top-notch quality at every stage.

The role of Genesys Engineer will be part of one of our Agile teams, aiming to enhance value delivered to the various business units across all countries in the group.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop/Implement new product functionalities and configurations within Genesys Engage platform .
  • Proactive approach by identifying and defining improvements in the telephony platform.
  • Identify opportunities to reuse existing assets within the refinement of new functionalities.
  • Prepare concise documentation related to completed developments.
  • Define and execute test cases.
  • Assist Voice Technology Product Owner (PO) in asking the right questions to business when dealing with new functionalities.
  • Basic understanding of the VSD (external or internal) systems interacting with Genesys to ensure E2E solution.
  • Ensure proper knowledge transfer to Support Discipline.
  • Participate in events and team meetings.

Requirements:

We are seeking a professional with an Engineering background (e.g., Telecommunications, System Engineer) and 3-5 years of Genesys experience.

  • Proficiency in English
  • Development/Configuration experience using Genesys Suite of technologies is a MUST : Genesys CTI, Genesys SIP, Genesys Composer, Genesys EServices, Genesys Outbound.
  • Proven experience in multichannel integrations & bots applied to various channels, such as Chat, Chatbot, Whatsapp, among others.
  • Design and develop routing applications for voice and multichannel using Composer.
  • Proven experience in integrations with REST and SOAP based APIs .
  • Good understanding of call routing from carrier network to local network via SIP trunk.
  • Availability for on-call duty, occasional international travel, and specific technical interventions after hours.
  • Soft-Skills:
  • Enthusiastic and high energy individual with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, methodical, and responsible individual.
  • Experience working in a multi-country team setting, adapting to constant changes and platform evolutions.

Skills/Knowledge Considered a Plus:

  • Experience in Agile Methodologies.
  • Knowledge in Jira and Atlassian tools
