Glovo is looking for a people operations & payroll intern to join our people team in our Headquarters in Barcelona.

Are you someone full of energy in driving initiatives and other people to accomplish and thrive? Do you have great Employee Relations experience and are ready to take your negotiation skills to the next level?

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Support on collect all payroll related information from managers, prepare, generate, check and submit payroll figures on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure any required adjustments are reflected in payroll.
  • Help our employees with any payrollrelated questions and advise them on what could work better for them.
  • Support the Senior role to administer changes to salary, benefits, promotions, bonus, etc. Benefits help implement.
  • Help to reconcile preprocessing reports to ensure accuracy of information prior to processing payroll.
  • Research discrepancies of payroll information and / or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures prior to processing.
  • Maintain payroll information, files and records to provide up to date reference.

You have:

  • Medium Excel Level.
  • Good communication skills and ability to establish effective working relations with people and management.
  • Fluency in Spanish & English, both verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Teamwork skills.

You are/have:

  • Reliable.
  • Open minded and global approach.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work independently and with highest ownership/responsibility.
  • Ability to work in a team, to be flexible and to work under timepressure.
  • Able to work confidently in a changing, fastpaced and resultsoriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required.
  • High attention to detail.

Nice-to-have experience in:

  • Payroll policies and procedures.
  • Labor laws and tax regulations.
