What We Seek
The Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences at UIC is commencing a recruitment process for a lecturer position in the Master's Degree program focusing on Cooperation, Development, and Social Economy. We are looking for an individual to teach the 'International Cooperation and NGOs' course, starting in the final quarter of 2024. This course spans 60 hours and aims to introduce students to NGOs and International Cooperation, covering historical developments, organizational structures, models of cooperation, and legal frameworks relevant to the field.
Offered Benefits
- A part-time Associate Lecturer role to teach a 6 ECTS credit course at the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences.
- Classes will run from October to December in the evening, coinciding with the inaugural edition of the master's program.

Requirements
We are looking for a lecturer with either of the following profiles:
Profile 1: Experienced NGO and Cooperation Professional
- Candidate with extensive experience in NGOs, international cooperation, or public management within this domain.
- A thorough understanding of the sector, its functionalities, and proficient communication skills.
Profile 2: Academic and Researcher in NGOs and International Cooperation
- University professor specializing in research and teaching related to Cooperation, Development, and NGOs, offering a holistic view of the field.
Assessment Criteria
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and oral.
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Supervisory skills for guiding students in their research.
- Adherence to the university's Christian values.
