What are we looking for?
Position Requirements

  • The position suits an experienced professional from a toptier energy company or financial services institution. Prior exposure to these technologies is preferred.
  • At least ten years of relevant business experience in project finance or a comparable background in investment banking preferably in energy.
  • Ideally having been actively involved in winning and executing large scale advisory mandates and/or lead arranging and bookrunning positions.
  • Broad and sophisticated knowledge in financial modelling and project finance techniques reflecting a thorough understanding of different accounting standards. Ability to translate ideas into financial structures and guide junior colleagues in this regard.
  • Business School/University degree in economics or business administration or law, ideally combined with international working experience.
  • Personal_:

  • Very structured and organized

About the job

  • Responsibilities_
The successful principal will have principal responsibilities comprising the following:

  • Leading the origination efforts in the clean tech field.
  • Actively contributing to the execution of project finance mandates.
  • Taking on and handling projects autonomously: debt structures, project due diligence, financial documentation and supervisory of/ leading modelling supervisory and credit process.
  • Coordination with external parties, e.g. auditors, legal and tax advisors.
  • Negotiation with tender authorities, international clients and financing institutions.
  • Structuring advice for privatetoprivate transactions to optimise financing structures for clients while maintaining bankability and acceptable credit risk for the bank.
  • Assisting clients in negotiations with potential debt and equity providers.
