  • While all Animation studios look to hire people who are creative and hardworking, Skydance Animation is specifically looking for pioneers who seek to push the limits of what the world's most collaborative art form can achieve, and to give those pioneers the space and the resources to build a new studio that's doing something different.

As a Senior Modeler, you will be involved in many aspects of the look, working in coordination with production designer and Art department to deliver a visually impressive look.

You will be asked to help guide this process. Your substantial experience will highlight and avoid potential problems early and also reveal opportunities for efficiency and increased quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Modeling from concepts following the look of the show
  • Modeling trees, bushes and other vegetation with the look of the movie
  • Works together with the team providing them with support, guidance and instruction in areas that contribute towards their artistic and professional growth
  • Follows supervisor's and lead's guidance

Requirements:

  • Over 4 years of professional experience in VFX or animation industries
  • Extensive experience with Maya
  • Extensive experience with SpeedTree
  • Extensive experience with Arnold render
  • Experience with Houdini is a plus
  • Experience with traditional drawing, and/or painting a plus
  • Strong English language proficiency
