Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently looking for a Junior Process Engineer to participate in our Basic design projects for international clients across the refining sector.
Among his / her responsibilities:
- Carry out process engineering design activities, following client specifications and company standards and procedures to schedule and budget as advised by the project process manager
- Accountability for the calculations, data sheets, narrative documents and engineering diagrams prepared for the project
- Provide technical expertise and support to the process project manager to any business activity as required
Skills / Qualifications:
- Chemical Engineering degree
- Technical knowledge of Oil & Gas and Refining process units (Crude and Vacuum, Delayed Coking, Hydrotreating, Hydrocracking, FCC, Alkylation, SRU, SWS, Utilities & Offsites, etc)
- From 2 to 5 years of proven experience in process design engineering, working at different steps of a project starting from Basic Engineering, FEED and EPC (Greenfield / Revamp projects)
- Further experience will be an added advantage
- Proficient in technical software like ASPEN HYSYS, PRO-II, PROMAX, ASPENFLARE SYSTEM ANALYSER
- Excellent command of Spanish and English languages
- Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required
- Availability to join in one month
